HELP!

Yeah yeah, I know you guys hate education cuz it involves school and all that.

But, this is important!

This Friday (I mean the 13th) is Pink Friday!

That sounds fun do you think?

NO, THAT DAY (Ironically on FRIDAY the 13TH) IS WHEN ANY EDUCATORS GET A SLIP SAYING THAT THEY’RE BEING LAID OFF. I do not know if the slip is pink.

But, as you know, the economy is horrible (Yeah, I’m tired of hearing about the economy too…). So some states are going to have to cut the education money. And the education is clearly important to us.

CA is cutting more then 11 billion dollars from the budget. So my district is cutting about 2 billion dollars from our budget. And that means lay offs, and possibly no band, choir, art programs, any program that isn’t required for the state. (Yes, PE, science, history, math and Language arts cannot be cut as they are required.)

Now, Pink Friday (Again, ironically on Friday the 13th), is happening very soon. So we need to stand up for this.

One way is to participate in your school’s meetings about the budget to stand up for it. Or have your parents go.

Another for kids is to do a petition even though it probably won’t help.

Fundraisers… it’ll help a little but not too much because then it’s hard to get to a goal of 2 million dollars….

THIS FRIDAY, EVEN IF YOUR A BOY, WEAR PINK! TO SUPPORT THIS DAY, THAT VERY DAY WILL CHANGE THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR TO EVERYONE WHETHER YOU THINK IT DOESN’T OR NOT.

That very day is incredibly important. And it’s coming soon. I truely want everyone to learn something rather then the 5 main subjects you guys need to know. It’s not going to help your lives any better. Music helps make you smarter as many know, and I mean playing music not listening.

Whoo hoo!

This past week was Spirit Week! Whoo!

It was fun and interesting and most likely the best week ever cuz you get to look like weirdos without being judged. =D

Monday~Backwards Day (Very uncomfortable. XD)

Tuesday~Mismatch day (LOL, A high ponytail and a braided tail)

Wednesday~Crazy Socks day (Whoo, black/green/white socks.

Thursday~Pajama Day (A lousy shirt, and Thumper pants that says “I’m Hoppy,” I couldn’t find any pants that didn’t look inappropriate (Either red, or it has holes in them. XD) )

Friday~Cougar Pride Day (Wear blue and yellow. I wore blue and yellow ribbons and my PE shirt.)

Overall, there were points involved, 4 for students and 25 for teachers. My class lost… A social studies class won, (LUCKY), they have a free party of their choice. Dang. Lucky. A math class came in a close tie.

A math teacher’s shirt said “Math has |Absolute| Value” some of you don’t know what that means. XD

It was quite sad and a terrible pun.

Other news….

Well, today (Wednesday), is our typical day to run the mile in PE, but the past 2 weeks we haven’t ran cuz of the rain. Or was it 3 weeks? I forgot. But it was raining so much, our school track got muddy ruined. Like a moat says my friend says her PE teacher.

TODAY, we entered the locker room and my friends and I saw a sign on the glass cabinet that supposed to show our grades, it says in a small sign in pink marker, quote, “Yes, we’re running today. “

BURN THE PERSON THAT WROTE THAT. XD

OK, no, I won’t, no one would, let whoever live.

Weird, so yeah, I did run, after not running for 2-3 weeks, I got 11:37.

Oh well.

It’s weird but Nochia is weird, so, what else?
Nochia had worse days.
Today, Tuesday, it rained, a lot. Especially during second period. It kept raining and raining and raining…. It grew freaking harder too. But then it stopped during Brunch.

Also, in PE, we ran around the WHOLE blacktop (Imagine a track but a little shorter.) 4 times. Punishment…. My class always talks, and never stops.

Our first warning~10 push ups
Our second warning~20 curl ups
Our third not warning~Practically a mile in the wet grounds.

CA is thinking about cutting some things out of the schools to fit the budget and sadly, my school might lose its electives. Such as band, choir, computer tech and whatever other elective. I don’t want to lose band, I love to play my instrument in the middle of the day. I don’t want to have only the important boring subjects (PE, I’m fine with….). I mean really. It’s weird.

What else. Well, you guys know the USA has the worse economy and we’re all broke, being laid off. Yak Yak. Ooo, can we get laid off school?

Hey, as the site Nochia1016′s said, this is going to be more of a personal site. But it will be special, it’s going to have contests, recipes for you to try, special “resorts” and anything else I can think of. Maybe a food court here. =)

But yeah, more of a personal site, I’ll be posting different things about me or whatever happened in life that’s going to end soon. No, I’m not emo.

Hmm, to start off, yes, I go to a SCHOOL. And that school has so many holes in the roofs then you can count. I’m extremely serious. That school has so many holes that well, when it rains….

We’re dodging past the puddles/flood/drops falling. *THE SKY IS FALLING!* No. But yeah, it’s hard with it….

And then you deal with the fact about the leaks in the locker room, it’s obvious that it goes through lockers cuz of the holes in them. But when you think about it, there’s a hole in the locker room…. and right above my locker.

Get the picture?

Now, when you open the locker, you expect DRYNESS. But no, not for me, I’ll have to expect a waterfall. -_-

We’re on a budget crisis, blame me…

No, not really, blame… you choose. Some say Bush, some say The People, some say…. whatever you want to say.

So yeah, my area has been seeing rain lately, a lot of rain. On Tuesday, it was downright pouring. We had more then 5 mini floods, one hole in the roof is like a gusher. You literally need to run/hurdle over the puddles/floods. OLYMPICS!!!!!! =D

But later, on that very Tuesday, in my last class which is Language Arts…. we had a fire alarm. Normally, when you hear that bell you’ll immediately think “Hey, a drill, saved from class.” Well, I don’t know what idiot at my school would pull a fire drill when its pouring rain, so yeah, it was real. We got out…. (-_-) and it was terrible. We stood there shivering in the rain.

The fire trucks came in 3 seconds flat (talk about a great fire department) and so did the police cars. Although, they almost hit the pedistrians AKA students running out of the building. So sad…

So yeah, stood there for 10 minutes (BTW, IT WAS NEAR THE END OF SCHOOL ANYWAYS.) We saw everyone well… cussing. Duh, it’s raining, we’re standing outside. But then there is PE, they stand in shorts and shirts. Hahaha. Sorry. XD

And then I heard what happened. Apparently, in the mat room behind the gym, the rain got to the electrical lightings, and yeah, BOOM! The lights went out in there. And smoke started appearing. Witnesses and or victims say it smelled like marshmallows…. XD

The smoke was pretty bad though, I saw some smoke coming out…

Ohhhh, I’ve also been told it was because someone tapped on a outlet, that’s not true because it isn’t connected to anything, it’s a piece of plastic glued to the wall, whoohoo.

Yeah, interesting, standing in the rain, freezing to death, cursing, watching the firemen, more cursing.
